Our beloved Georgia, a gentle and devoted pug, passed away peacefully at nearly 12 years old. A loyal guardian, faithful friend, and treasured member of our family, Georgia gave us a lifetime of unconditional love wrapped in a bundle of soft wrinkles, warm snuggles, and endless devotion. From the moment she joined our home, Georgia filled our lives with joy, warmth, and the kind of steadfast love only a dog can give.
She faithfully kept watch over our three daughters as they grew, and later extended her tender protection and affection to our four grandbabies. Her heart was always with her family — she loved us all so very much, and we loved her back tenfold. Georgia spent her entire life side by side with her sister Gracie. The two were inseparable — constant companions, partners in play, and a comforting presence to one another every day for nearly 12 years. Their bond was deep and true, and we know Gracie will feel her absence just as we do. Ever vigilant, Georgia took her backyard patrol duties seriously. She wore a little path with her tiny paws, circling again and again, always ensuring everything was just right in her world. It was her mission, her rhythm, and part of what made her so special. In her final days, the house was quieter, and her steps slower — but her heart never wavered.
And now, she is no longer in pain. Her rest is peaceful, and her little body is finally at ease. We’ll miss her sweet presence, her soulful eyes, and those soft, oh so soft, velvety ears we loved to stroke. She was the sweetest and best dog we could have ever hoped for. Though our home feels a little emptier now, our hearts are full of the love she gave us every single day. Rest well, sweet Georgia. You did your job so well. We’ll love you forever.
